Direct selling is one of the best industries in India if you wish to start a business of your own and to achieve financial independence. But with so many myths and misconceptions surrounding the industry, it is hard to know what is true and what is not. And this can be a cause of confusion for anyone who is looking to start a Qnet direct selling business in India. So, I decided to make a beginner guide so that anyone can enter the business without any worry or confusion.

What is Direct Selling?

Direct selling is a business model where companies sell their products directly to the customers using representatives. In Qnet, these representatives are called Qnet IRs or Independent Representatives.

How does Qnet direct selling work?

Qnet has a number of high-quality products, including healthcare supplements like Nutriplus, lifestyle products like air purifiers and more that they sell to the customers through their Independent Representatives. As the product is sold directly by the company to its customers through Qnet IRs, there is no middleman. And because the company does not spend money on marketing and advertising its products, Qnet is able to sell the products at a much lower cost than possible in conventional means. These products are only available through Qnet IRs and cannot be found anywhere else.

How do you make money as a Qnet direct seller?

As a direct selling network marketing, Qnet doe does not spend any investment or resource of marketing or advertising its product as a conventional company would. Qnet is able to save the money and use it to reduce the price of their product. As a Qnet IR, you are supposed to market the product and sell it to the customer. For this, you are paid a commission by the company and can also keep the profits from the product that you sold. There are also other means by which you can make money as a direct seller, but we can discuss that in a future article.

How is direct selling different from pyramid schemes?

One of the biggest misconceptions that seem to be spread around about the Qnet network marketing company in India is that it is a pyramid scheme. However, this cannot be farther from the truth. This is a big problem that many other legitimate direct selling network marketing companies in India have to go through. This is because pyramid schemes share many similarities to how a legitimate direct selling company works. Both try to recruit as many people into their network as possible and has some kind of bonus for recruiting others.

However, most pyramid schemes do not have any products or services and make all of its money by charging new recruits an admission fee. This money is used to pay existing members of the scheme, and the new recruits are told to find others to recruit to the company. This is not sustainable in the long run and becomes more unstable as the number of people in the pyramid grows.
