I have always been a big fan of setting big goals when it comes to my Qnet direct selling business. Not only does it force you to give your level best, the feeling of joy and satisfaction that you receive when you finally manage to achieve the goal and ace it knows no bounds. But how do you set goals? What makes a good goal that is achievable? How do I know if my goal is exaggerated or am I going too easy on myself?

Let us see how you can learn to set high, but achievable goals in direct selling.

Your vision and your goal

Before you can set a goal, you need to know what you want to do. Having a vision is a great tool and motivator when it comes to running a successful direct selling business in India. Most people do not have a vision when they start out, and even the ones who had a vision find themselves losing their way as time progresses. Before you can build a business that you are happy, satisfied and proud of, you should know what makes you happy, satisfied and proud.

Think of what you want in life and try to be as descriptive as you can be. Do not just think of making more money and having more free time. Think of what you want to do with your free time and how it will benefit you. Doing something as simple as writing down your vision and putting it up where you can see it every day can sure that you do not lose sight of your dream.

Goals are your milestones to success

While people think of achieving goals as succeeding in direct selling, they are just milestones in your journey to it. The objective of having goals is to breakdown your definition of success into small and easily achievable steps.

For instance, take your vision for life that you wrote down and think of how you can break it down into smaller steps. If your aim is to buy a house or to achieve financial independence, your goals would be to find more passive sources of income or to have more savings.

Reaching your destination

When you have goals, you know what you are trying to achieve. Success is a long journey, and chances are that you will have to make a few stops and asks for directions (this might mean that you will have to seek help and assistance from others in your Qnet network marketing direct selling business in India). If you do not have set goals, you will end up taking more detours than you should. With a well-defined goal, you will reach your destination, even if you have to go through detours and challenges.

Staying on target

Direct selling business in India is one field in which you will be faced with a lot of rejections and heartbreaks. It is easy to lose hope and determination in the face of rejection. The goals you achieved are a great means of helping you stay on track and to keep your spirits up. Even if you have not achieved your goals yet, seeing how close you are to it and how much distance you have come is enough to inspire you.

Setting goals and trying to accomplish them is not only a great tool to attain and measure success in direct selling, but it is also important in life as a whole. Direct selling helps you gain important character traits and develop your personality in many ways. Teaching you the importance of setting and achieving goals is one such trait that direct selling allows you to improve.
